Once the damaged, diseased or dead pulp is removed, the remaining space is cleaned, shaped and filled. This procedure seals off the root canal. Canal treatment is related to considerable loss of hard tissues of the tooth, therefore following the end of therapy, the doctor recommends the patient to consider strengthening of the tooth using prosthetic crowns or\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0crown root inlay and crown. Tooth without the pulp is more prone to fracture.
